Cardif Pinnacle backing half marathon
Cardif Pinnacle will again be sponsoring the annual Borehamwood Half Marathon & Fun Run.
The event, which is organised by Borehamwood Athletics Club, is in its 16th year and attracts some 400 athletes from around the UK.
Pauline Duggan, Cardif Pinnacle's media relations manager, said: "Cardif Pinnacle has always had an affinity with sport, particularly as we offer insurance for the amateur sportsperson. This is now our 14th year sponsoring this event.
"It's a pleasure to once again be able to help with such a worthwhile event."
Pauline Poole, Borehamwood Athletics Club race secretary, added: "It is a lovely family day and there is always a good atmosphere.
"The half marathon attracts runners from all over the country. We've even had runners from Jersey, Isle of Man, Scotland, and even America and Canada."
This year, the event will be held on Sunday, June 22 at the Hertswood Centre, Potters Lane, Borehamwood.
