Shenley Park's Walled Garden will host an afternoon of jazz on Sunday.

The musicians playing in the concert have come together through attending Hertsmere Jazz Workshops, run in Borehamwood and Watford.

Jim Phillips, who runs the workshops, said: "This is the ninth year we've performed in the Walled Garden and we normally have a full house. We're looking forward to good weather and an afternoon of live music."

Visitors are invited to bring a picnic and listen to Dixieland, jazz, swing, blues and big band music.

Tickets costs £5 (children £1) and are available in advance from The Tea Room in Shenley Park or at the gate. For information, call 020 8953 5633.

Jazz on a Summer's Day, Walled Garden, Shenley Park, Radlett Lane, Shenley, Sunday, 1.30pm until 7pm
