Over the past year we’ve shared some of the adorable animals being looked after by the National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford who were hoping to find their forever homes.
We thought you’d like to know what happened to them so here’s an update from some of their new families:
Cinders and Smokey the kittens
“Hello, we thought we’d send a couple of photos to show how well Cinders and Smokey are settling into their new home. They seem to love it.
"They have a couple of very lively playtimes with the kids for an hour or so each day and are super curious and desperate to find out what’s behind each door in the house though, so far, we’re keeping them in my office and the hall, stairs and landing.
"They’re eating well, are happily using their litter trays and love attention - they have taken very well to all the family.
"With this new lockdown they will have a lot more company than we’d expected. Thanks for looking after them so well.”
Becky the dog
“You’ve been very supportive and given me a lot of good advice, Becky is very well and is loving her time with me.”
Magic the cat
“As you can see, I am very happy on my bed on the radiator. Love Magic”
Apricot the dog
“Apricot is such a happy dog. We can't remember life without her. We give her so much love and we get so much love back. We can't thank you enough - she is a joy.”
Buddy the dog
“Happiness is lots of walks and even more cuddles. Love Buddy x”
