FOUR Vietnamese men living in London appeared before magistrates in Newport today charged with the murder of another Vietnamese man.
Thanh Van Le, 47, Cong Van Le, 30, Son Van Nhu, 23, all of Canterbury Road, Feltham, Middlesex, and Khai Van Tran, 29, of Wigley Road, Feltham, Middlesex, were all charged with the murder of Tran Nguyen.
Each of the men were charged with murder between November 15 and November 21 2006 at Newport.
They spoke through a translator, only to confirm their names, ages and addresses.
Michael Beaman, for the Crown Prosecution Service, asked that the men be remanded in custody until a preliminary hearing at Newport crown court.
Peter Goodison, chairman of the Magistrates' Bench, referred the case to Newport crown court for a preliminary hearing on January 19 at 9.15am, and remanded the four in custody.
