POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the murder of a teenager and have issued a description of two suspects.

Two white men are sought by police for questioning in connection to the murder of 18-year-old Faridon Alizada at a flat in Verona House, Waterhead Close, Erith, on Saturday.

The first suspect is described as having stubble, wearing a black woolly hat, blue jeans, a white bomber jacket and white trainers.

The second suspect is described as wearing a waist-length yellow fluorescent vest or jacket and white trainers.

It is believed the two suspects left Verona House together shortly after the incident at 3am.

It is not known at this stage whether they travelled on foot or used a vehicle.

Leading the investigation Det Insp Phil Rickells said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen the two suspects entering or leaving Verona House in the early hours of that morning to come forward."

  • Two men aged were arrested later on Saturday in connection with the incident and were taken to a south London police station. A 31-year-old man remains in custody. A 41-year-old man was released yesterday with no further action.
