HILLINGDON: Restaurant blaze was arson
Investigators believe a fire at a Northwood restaurant was started by a petrol bomb.
Police officers and firefighters have been inspecting Rocco and Tino in Joel Street following the blaze on Friday, May 9.
Hillingdon Police have now revealed they believe a brick was used to smash the glass windows at the front of the restaurant, before arsonists threw a petrol bomb into the premises.
Fire crews were called to the blaze, which is being treated as suspicious, at around 3.40am.
Investigations will continue and anyone with information can call police on 0208 246 1447.
