Esher stars Duncan Cormack, Neil Hallett and Simon Elkinson featured in the England Counties side that claimed a maiden victory on French soil on the weekend.
Tynedale winger Hamish Smales at 18, the youngest player to pull on a Counties XV jersey sealed a 29-16 win over France Amateurs with a try three minutes from time.
It was a crucial score, as the hosts had been in touch at 22-16 and growing in confidence thanks to some powerful work by their forwards.
Earlier, Esher captain Cormack had experience the thrill of running on to the field in the starting XV, while Hallett and Elkinson came on as replacements.
They will be hoping to carry the momentum from this historic victory when they host Stourbridge on Saturday.
Esher, who registered their first victory at Stourbridge earlier this season, are seven points adrift of the National League Two promotion places but will be looking to maintain the pressure on Moseley and Waterloo in the final six games.
