PAKISTANI international cricketer Younis Ahmed has arrived at St Albans School to pass on his batting skills to the boys.
A left-handed batsman and occasional bowler, also known as Mohammed Younis, he played four tests and two one-day internationals for his homeland between 1969 and 1987.
Deputy director of sport Martin Langston said: "It's a real coup for us.
"Having Younis on the staff, with that depth of experience, should make a real difference for the boys.
"He has considerable skills in all aspects of the game, and will be passing on his knowledge to players from all year groups in the school."
The new coach has plenty of experience of English conditions, having played county cricket for Glamorgan, Surrey and Worcestershire.
In his first-class career he scored over 26,000 runs and took 49 wickets.
