Borehamwood BC won three of the five rinks against Mill Hill, but still lost the match 94-83.
Winning rinks for Borehamwood were John Roe, Lesley Martin, Mick Glover and Sid Butcher (21-19), Pat Stephens, Eve Middleditch, Dai Higgon and Fred Paine (18-15), and Gerry Stephens, Eric Swain, Dave Middleditch and Doris Edwards (25-14).
In the annual fixture against the Metropolitan Police Club in Bushey, Borehamwood lost a really close encounter on four rinks by seven shots. Their only winning rink was Veronica Hancock, Sid Butcher, Bryan Mayson and Roy Edwards, who won 22-12.
