DeMerit back as Bromby sidelined
Aidy Boothroyd has made one change for this afternoon's meeting with Scunthorpe United at Vicarage Road that could see Watford guarantee their play-off place.
Jay DeMerit returns to the starting line-up at the expense of knee-injury victim Leigh Bromby, while there is a recall for Lionel Ainsworth on the bench.
Already relegated Iron boss Nigel Adkins is forced into two changes from the side that overcame Cardiff City last time out.
Ian Morris and Ben May come in for Jim Goodwin and Martin Paterson, who are ruled out with hamstring and hernia injuries respectively.
Watford: Lee; Doyley, DeMerit, Shittu, Stewart; Smith, Eustace, O'Toole, McAnuff; Priskin, Henderson. Substitutes: Williamson, Ellington, Mariappa, Ainsworth, Poom.
Scunthorpe United: Murphy; Byrne, Irekpen, Butler, Williams; Forte, Cork, Hurst, Morris; Hayes, May. Substitutes: Sparrow, Weston, Picton, Wright, Winn.

We've lost as usual and I can't see any sign of this promised flood of goals. Will soneone get rid of this idiot of a manager. How glad am I that I didn't drive my usual 130 miles to Vicarage Road. I refuse to spend any more money on these useless overpaid premadonnas, and on funding the pockets of AB. GET RID OF HIM !!!!!!

Next season in the championship, new manager, new players and some semblance of football being played would be nice.

Hornet carp old fellow, just a few points for your consideration.
As you do not go what makes you think that you have an informed view?
As you do not go and therefore not really put anything into the club please do not wish for failure for those who do.
You seem to have little self awareness, but I do hope your armchair is comfy.
